The topic of the work to be submitted is "Schmu".

This theme shall be formulated by the personal handwriting of the participating artist. The realisation may be political, social, ironic, witty, melancholy, sad, ambivalent, provoking. Each artist may submit one work.

The materials may be chosen freely, except, of course, anything that im- or explodes, burns or stinks. Also excluded is anything xenophobic or otherwise dehumanizing. The work should be equipped with a fixture for hanging and not exceed the maximum dimensions of 50 x 50 x 50 cm. Please submit videos with an overall length of 3 minutes on CD or DVD. (Any performances participate only after consultation with plan.d.; and they can only be out of competition. They can not be performed on the opening night)

The submitted works will be shown at the anniversary exhibition from September 20th until October 19th, 2014, in the producers’ gallery plan.d. The work must be submitted or handed in to plan.d. between August 31st and October 14th(UNTIL 6 p.m.), 2014, together with the completed and signed application form.

The works are not insured.

The submitted work remains property of the artist, however, it may also be offered for sale (Gallery commission 30 % of the selling price) or donated to plan.d.

The artist agrees to the display of his/her work during the anniversary exhibition as well as to the publication on the homepage of plan.d. and as well in social networks in the Internet.

The artist bears the costs of transportation (or he/she may hand in the work at plan.d.). As there are no storage possibilities available at plan.d., the work has to be picked up after the end of the exhibition, until October 23th, 2014, at the latest, or sent back at the expense of the artist.

The submitted topics related works issued during the anniversary exhibition from 20/09 up to the 19/10/2014 in the plan.d. produzentengalerie.

plan.d. sets up an independent jury. This jury will award the prizes.

There will be awards.

First and second prize: a joint exhibition at plan.d.
Third prize: Artist’s business card (or post card) created
by our professional designer.
Fourth prize: Shopping voucher for artist accsessories
5th-10th prize: various Schmu-prizes

Members of plan.d. and their relatives are, of course, excluded from the assignment of the awards.

No legal action will be countenanced.
